In alignment with the 16 Days of Activism, UNFPA Sri Lanka, in collaboration with Hayleys Fentons Limited, hosted a webinar focused on addressing critical issues surrounding Gender Norms, Myths, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the workplace. The session, conducted in Sinhala, was attended by over 70 employees, emphasizing the importance of understanding and tackling these issues within the work environment.

This is a part of our broader efforts to promote safer, more equitable workplaces for all individuals, irrespective of gender. Through raising awareness and fostering open dialogue, we aim to create environments where violence, discrimination, and inequality are no longer tolerated. By engaging with the private sector, we seek to make strides towards a future that is free from violence, where everyone can thrive in a safe and supportive workplace.

The collaboration highlights UNFPA Sri Lanka commitment to tackling GBV in all sectors and contributes to building a future where individuals are empowered, respected, and safe in their professional spaces.
