Overview:
Under the direct supervision of a dedicated National Programme Analyst, the intern will support the team in the areas of programme implementation, communication activities, and/or conduct of assessments in areas of Sexual and Reproductive Health, Gender and Gender-based Violence and/or Population and Development.
A work-plan with achievements for the duration of the Internship and learning opportunities will be agreed upon. Periodic progress meetings will lead to a beneficial environment for the Intern enhancing her/his skills and capacity in areas related to UNFPA's mandate.
You will report to a dedicated National Programme Analyst.

A key priority in this programme is increasing the delivery of sexual reproductive health services to women and young people, people living with disabilities, ethnic minorities and other vulnerable groups and enabling healthcare workers to deliver quality and non-discriminatory family planning services in identified low-performing areas.

You will be assigned to learn the following:
- Assists in programme implementation (SRH, Gender/GBV or PD) and partnerships
- Support implementing thematic communication campaigns and joint campaign initiatives
- Assist with the planning and promotion of programme workshops/ or events
- Conduct of thematic assessments, monitoring, and evaluations
