The Standard Basic Assistance Agreement between the Government and the United Nations Development Programme, dated 20 March 1990 and the exchange of letters between the Government and UNFPA, dated 11 August 2005, constitute the legal basis for the relationship between the Government of Sri Lanka and UNFPA.
