Young leaders in Sri Lanka partnered with the National Youth Services Council (NYSC) and UNFPA Sri Lanka to address pressing concerns related to climate change and gender issues. Their collective ambition was to formulate an inclusive statement and national action plan for COP28, contributing to the global dialogue on climate action.
The event aimed to provide local youth with an enriching experience and exposure to the global event of the Annual Conference of Youth (COY).
This event served as a platform to engage the perspectives of youth on the current environmental, social, and economic developments within each province.
