UNFPA Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Disaster Management Centre and Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, and with support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Australia, launched a 3-day Gender-Responsive Emergency Action training programme.

Focusing on sexual and reproductive health (SRH), gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, and social inclusion, the training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to respond effectively and equitably during emergencies—ensuring no one is left behind.
