In October, UNFPA Sri Lanka’s partner, the Family Planning Association Sri Lanka (FPASL) opened a new service center in Kilinochchi with support from the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka. This service center marks a significant milestone in enhancing accessibility to quality sexual and reproductive health services for at-risk communities in the area.
With the establishment of the clinic, communities are able to access services even through mobile clinics supported by the center. This innovative approach aims to bring essential services closer to communities, particularly those in under-served and hard-to-reach communities.
