UNFPA Sri Lanka, with the Jaffna Social Action Center (JSAC) and the Government of Australia conducted a program to strengthen capacities of community leaders for effective engagement with the reparations and reconciliation process in Jaffna and Vavuniya.
The aim of the program was to develop the skills and knowledge of community leaders to effectively engage with the state reparation and reconciliation process. It is vital for marginalized and at-risk groups to be able to access reparation mechanisms and other needed support.
