UNFPA Sri Lanka joined FPA Sri Lanka and French Embassy in Colombo for 'Period Proud', a day dedicated to interactive and educational acts to break the taboos and discrimination surrounding menstruation health.

For young girls, access to information about menstrual health and hygiene can make a difference in the world. Menstrual products must be accessible and acceptable without any legal, cultural, social or economical barriers.
