Forum theater provides the audience an opportunity to be more aware of the problems or social issues they may encounter.
It is designed to engage audiences through discussion, interaction, role-playing and sharing experiences and to come up with possible solutions to avoid and minimize impact of such issues.
UNFPA Sri Lanka with Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia and the Act4 - Theatre for Change group is producing a drama series with schools across the island on the importance of gender equality and raise awareness on technology-facilitated gender-based violence and available information and services. The first workshop was held at Sri Rahula Balika Maha Vidyalaya.
