The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka (FPASL) with support from UNFPA Sri Lanka and the Government of Australia commenced a series of mobile clinics across Sri Lanka. Mobile clinics provide much needed support to women and girls in areas with limited medical facilities to receive medical support for their sexual and reproductive health needs.
The mobile clinic comprises doctors and trained staff who provide reproductive health services, providing pre-and postnatal care, providing health awareness, education services and family planning supplies.
