Findings of the UNFPA global assessment reveal UNFPA’s strengths with respect to human rightsbased Family Planning (FP) programming, areas needing improvement and causes of underlying deficiencies with potential opportunities. As a result, UNFPA Sri Lanka supported the Asia-Pacific Sub Regional Workshop on a Human Rights-Based Approach to Family Planning. The workshop aimed to strengthen service providers and equip systems to provide rights-based family planning services through the Asia-Pacific region.
