Good sexual and reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being in all matters relating to the reproductive system. When women and girls live a life free from violence, they can fully realize and exercise their sexual and reproductive health and rights. UNFPA Sri Lanka, with a grant in aid from the Government of Japan, is implementing a three-year project to improve access to SRH and SGBV information and services for women and young people targeting North, East, South and Central Provinces. This is an initiative between Japan and Sri Lanka for further implementation of the Women, Peace, and Security agenda.

You will support the effective management of UNFPA programme activities in the areas of population and development, reproductive health and gender.

You will apply established systems and procedures and assist in the creation of knowledge by compiling, synthesizing and analyzing relevant information, developing appropriate mechanisms and systems and ensuring compliance with procedures.

You will play a crucial role in the project in order to contribute to a positive change on gender equality, empowerment of women and girls and respect for the human rights to achieve and sustain peace in the country.
