As our world becomes more digital, Sri Lankans are spending more and more time online. Whilst this expands opportunities, it has also rendered digital platforms a place of harassment and violence, disproportionately targeting women and girls, and LGBTQIA+ persons.

As digital platforms evolve rapidly, so do the risks. Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) has emerged as a critical policy issue that demands urgent government attention to ensure safety, equity, and inclusion in online spaces.
